Adjunct Professor, School of Real Estate and Managing Director, Black Olive Ventures Pty. Ltd.

Mr. Sunil Agarwal is an Adjunct Professor for the School of Real Estate at the RICS School of Built Environment. He is also the Managing Director at Black Olive Ventures Pty Ltd. Previously, he served as Chief Development and Acquisitions Officer at SARE. In April 2006, he co-founded the firm, which focuses on the value-for-money segment in the residential real estate space. SARE is a Residential Real Estate Development and Funds Management Company with a corpus of $400 million.

Sunil has vast and diverse experience in the Indian real estate industry. He has worked at senior management positions with Colliers Jardine, Chesterton Meghraj, HSBC and ICICI Ventures, where he has been responsible for advisory, transaction services, strategic organisational restructuring initiatives and private equity investments.

He is a member of the Advisory Committee of CREDAI NCR, Member Board of Studies, School of Planning, Ahmedabad, and mentor to the Real Estate and Entrepreneurship Club at ISB Hyderabad. He is also a member of Indian Town Planners of India and Indian Institution of Valuers. Sunil holds a degree in civil engineering, urban planning and business administration.

His diverse experience includes advising multinational corporations on regional facilities and workplace solutions, financial feasibility on infrastructure projects, private equity placements in property, valuations and direct property investments across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
