Paul is an Assistant Professor in the School of Construction at the RICS School of Built Environment. He is a Civil Engineer with specialisation in Construction Engineering and Management. His teaching and research interests include Construction Project Management; Knowledge Management in Construction; Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Construction; and Sustainable Construction.
 
Paul worked for a real estate organisation before joining IIT Madras for a post-graduate research degree in Construction Engineering and Management. He has worked on a couple of research projects at IIT Madras, related to Cyclone Disaster Management and subsequently registered for his Ph.D. He has been serving as a Visiting Faculty at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi as well as at the University School of Management Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi.
